How to Reach
By Air
The nearest airport to Anantnag is Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar, around 77 km away from the shrine. From there, one can hire a taxi or use local transport to reach Anantnag and then head to Kabamarg. .
By Train
The nearest railway station is in Sadoora, about 6 km away. From Sadoora, you can take a taxi to reach the shrine by local transport. (Sadoora is a small Railway Station in Anantnag District)
By Road
Anantnag is well connected by road to major cities in Jammu and Kashmir. The road journey offers scenic views of the valley. Once in Anantnag, taxis, buses, and auto-rickshaws are available to take you to the Kabamarg shrine.
Best time to Visit

The best time to visit Kabamarg Shrine is during the summer months (May to October). This is when the weather is most pleasant, and you can explore the shrine and the surrounding area comfortably. Spring (March-April) and autumn (September-October) are also ideal, offering moderate temperatures and stunning landscapes.
