For the more adventurous, Nagberan is a gateway to the famous Tarsar and Marsar lakes. These two alpine lakes, which are perennial sources of fresh water, are located about 30 kilometers from Nagberan. The trek to the lakes takes around 4 hours and offers stunning views along the way. The nearest airport is Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (Srinagar Airport), about 46 kilometers from Tral. From the airport, you can take a taxi or private car to reach Tral and then head towards Nagberan. .
By Train
The closest railway station is in Awantipora, which is well-connected to major cities. From there, taxis are available to reach Tral and then head towards Nagberan via Satura village.
By Road
The road from Tral to Satura village is macadamized, making it easily accessible by private vehicles. Once in Satura, a trek through the forest area is required to reach Nagberan, which takes about five hours on foot.
Best time to Visit
