Best time to Visit
May to September
Late Spring to Early Autumn (May to September): During these months, the weather is favorable, and the meadows are at their most vibrant, offering the best conditions for trekking and nature walks.
The region around Methwani has traditionally been used by Gujjars and Bakarwals, nomadic shepherd communities, for seasonal grazing. It forms part of the ancient routes used for transhumance, where herders would move livestock between summer and winter pastures. The area remained largely untouched by mass tourism, preserving its natural and historical essence through oral traditions and local use.
